The portal

Recently I watched "Gods of Egypt" and "Stargate" and I wanted to make something similar.
My concept reveals an ancient egyptian portal connected to a powerful energy source.
The goal was to open an interdimensional gateway to another world.
This is taking place in a underground secret society base. After activating the machine
something went wrong , the scientists ran away and the military personnel stepped in.
